We heard you loud and clear! Most residents oppose the rezoning and construction of homes in The Woodlands golf courses. Our mission is the defense of the homeowners and the preservation of an exceptional open green space.
The Woodlands is a timeless treasure built in 1968 by visionary businessman and forevermore philanthropist Kenneth E. Behring. It is one of a kind in the city of Tamarac, blending succinctly and pleasantly with the long-lived natural species that are living components of a purposive century-long evolving scenic. Kenneth E. Behring and the original residents shared a purpose of comradeship and quality of life for The Woodlands. We will work with passion to preserve this legacy.
Please join us in this fight.
DEFEND THE WOODLANDS AT A GLANCE
We focus on the defense of 277 acres of open
green space in The Woodlands Country Club, from losing its recreation designation in favor of the construction of more than 400 houses. This natural habitat has allowed, for half a century, humans, nature and wild life to live and play in a mutually beneficial way, so we strive to inspire you to help preserve all of it. Get involved so we can make the people count in a city that is "open for business", as one of its key spokespersons recently said in a public hearing.
We Need Your Backup.

WHAT WE STRIVE TO SAVE
We strive to save what brought you to The Woodlands. It has been home not only to over 900 families but also to a very rich ecosystem of nature and wildlife, and welcomed everyday joggers, golf players and celebrities.

ACCESS TO PUBLIC GOLF
Everybody deserves a tee shot at recreation
LONG LIVED NATURE
They have thrived here for half a century and that's just one third of their potential
WILDLIFE CORRIDORS
Many animals and their families will be displaced
